In my significant writing project, I had to cite three different sources. I cited the two texts I used and the interview. I was able to cite all of the three sources correctly, even the interview. I don’t use any citation machines because they aren’t always correct. I have been using the MLA citation format for many years, so I am comfortable with producing works cited pages. I also focused a lot on local revision in this paper. I used Grammarly in order to help me with my grammar and some word choices. For many of my word choices, I decided to use a thesaurus so I wasn’t repeating the same words all the time. Through local revision, I was able to produce a strong paper with no grammatical errors and was able to incorporate better word choices than I would have before that final step of revision. I believe local revision is just as important as global revision because you can have a good paper, but without correct grammar and word choices, it won’t be as well written.
